Sports presenter Jake Humphrey has been announced as the anchor of BT's Barclays Premier League football coverage.

Best known for fronting the BBC's Formula 1 coverage, Humphrey is set to begin working with BT's forthcoming new sports channel in January 2013, on a four year deal. As well as hosting live coverage of the 38 games, Humphrey will also be involved with football programming, working with BT's creative teams and production partners in the run up to next season's kick-off in August 2013.
